Safeguarding Support & Training Programme 2022

ConnectEd Partnership and The City of Wolverhampton Council in collaboration with Ann Brown, Educational Consultant, have created this comprehensive offer of high quality training and tailored support to enable schools to develop and implement effective safeguarding practices and to help schools identify the statutory and non-statutory training requirements for their workforce. It is not intended to be referred to in isolation, but schools should consider it as part of their school’s safeguarding procedures and policies. The training and information identified in this document is correct at the time of publication and will be updated as required.

Part 1 of this document is the training, policies and support materials offer put together by The City of Wolverhampton Council’s Education Services and ConnectEd Partnership. It is available to all Wolverhampton and ConnectEd Member Schools.

Part 2 explains the multi-agency mandatory and non-mandatory training requirements for Wolverhampton schools provided through the Wolverhampton Safeguarding Partnership (WSP).
