A 5 day programme to develop reflective teachers who are at the start of their teaching career (1-3 Years).

There will be opportunity throughout the course to address any on-going questions and reflect on current practice.

What does the programme involve?

Day 1: Leading Learning this year

Tuesday 1st October 2019 (8.30am-12.00pm)

•             What are you hoping to develop this year?

•             NQT Final Assessment / Staff Appraisal targets > what are your next steps?

•             Managing the year ahead

•             Relationship with others

Day 2: Everybody Counts

Thursday 28th November 2019 (9.30am – 3.00pm)

•             Meeting all needs, catering for everyone in your classroom

•             The learning environment

•             SEND

•             EAL

•             Teaching at greater depth

Day 3: Data, its implications and recognising impact

Tuesday 21st January 2020 (8.30am – 12.00pm)

•             Narrowing the gaps

•             Interventions

•             School data

•             External data

•             Statutory assessment

Day 4: Halfway through the year – time to take stock

Thursday 27th February 2020 (9.30am – 3.00pm)

•             An opportunity to reflect on practice this year

•             A needs-led session

•             Sharing practice

•             Facilitated visit

Day 5: ‘Forging’ Ahead – ’What’s next for you?’

Tuesday 23rd June 2020 (8.30am — 12.00pm)

•             Where do you want to go next in ‘your career’?

•             CPD Leadership / Subject Leadership
